Zhao Yunyu (1916-2003) is a close disciple of the legendary master Zhang Daqian (1899-1983) and a true all-round artist from Sichuan, equally accomplished in poetry, calligraphy, and painting.
To mark the 110th anniversary of his birth, the Chengdu Museum will present its collection of Zhao Yunyu's calligraphy and paintings. With 70 years of artistic refinement, Zhao's works reveal a deep grounding in tradition and a unique personal style.
