Countless purple trumpet trees have burst into bloom since the start of January in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, attracting residents and tourists seeking a delightful escape amidst nature's splendor.
The 7,000 trees in Xixi village's Xiazhuangli, Jimei district, have transformed a once-fallow orchard into a breathtaking floral wonderland. Blooming from January to March, the flowers create a mesmerizing "purple carpet" effect when viewed from above.
