Winter rime and sea of clouds transform Hunan scenic area into a fairyland

The Yunbing Mountain scenic area in Lanshan county, Yongzhou, Central China's Hunan province, has transformed into a winter wonderland. During the recent New Year holiday, its breathtaking rime formations and sea of clouds attracted large crowds of visitors.

Situated at more than 1,400 meters above sea level, Yunbing Mountain boasts a unique landscape where natural beauty seamlessly integrates with local villages. In the winter months, when cold air encounters atmospheric moisture, trees become adorned with delicate ice crystals, creating enchanting scenes where frost-covered forests merge with rolling clouds.
