A Russian team won the 37th China Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition on Sunday at the Harbin Ice and Snow World in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.
After a comprehensive evaluation across multiple dimensions, the team from Amursk won first place with their work Alone in the Forest, noted for its unique theme and demonstration of skill.
The three-day event attracted 76 sculptors from 12 countries, including China, Russia, the United States, the Republic of Korea, and France, who showcased their exquisite skills using natural ice blocks from the frozen Songhua River measuring 2 meters high, 2 meters wide, and 0.5 meters thick.
