The factory of Brightek Optoelectronics (Jiangsu), a subsidiary of Brightek in Taiwan, recently commenced operations in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA).

Brightek's whole project in Nantong represents a total investment of $100 million. The first phase includes a planned 33,000 square meters of factory space, which will house production lines for optical sensors and automotive-grade LED products, supporting fields such as international automotive manufacturing, smart mobility, intelligent sensing, and AI robotics.

The launch of the project marks an important step forward for Brightek as it seeks to deepen its presence in the Yangtze River Delta region. It also serves as a crucial addition to NETDA's efforts to enhance its industrial chain and strengthen its industrial clusters.

As one of the first national-level economic and technological development zones, NETDA focuses on the advancement of next-generation information technology, intelligent manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, and new energy industries.

It has attracted over 1,000 foreign-invested enterprises, including more than 90 Fortune 500 companies, with the industrial output value of enterprises above designated size exceeding 200 billion yuan ($28.32).
