New NEV control unit project breaks ground in NHIZ

The second phase of Jiangsu Jinmai Electronic Co's new energy vehicle (NEV) powertrain control unit project commenced construction on Nov 28 in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ).
The project plans to develop a research, manufacturing, and R&D office complex for automotive electronic control units, with a total construction area of approximately 22,400 square meters, which is expected to enhance the regional NEV industry chain and drive industrial upgrading.
In recent years, NHIZ has prioritized the automotive components industry as one of its core sectors, promoting its high-end, intelligent, and green transformation and upgrading.
