The Shanghai Dance Theatre will present the dance drama Azure After the Rain at the CDHT CPAA Grand Theatre in Chengdu, Sichuan province, from Dec 26 to 28. Highlighting the life of the renowned Song Dynasty (960-1279) poet Li Qingzhao (1084-1155), the production weaves poetry, history and movement as her love, strength and resilience unfold on stage. Li Qingzhao is celebrated for her graceful yet powerful lyrical style.
