Chongqing launches embodied intelligence association

The Chongqing Embodied Intelligence Collaborative Innovation Association was unveiled on Nov 25 in Liangjiang New Area.

The association aims to integrate resources across the entire industrial chain, encompassing production, academia, research, application, and finance. By utilizing communities and laboratories, the association seeks to foster a robust atmosphere for scientific and technological innovation.

With over 100 member units and individuals already on board, the association plans to focus on key research areas, including trends in the embodied intelligence industry, while supporting local government decision-making and integrating resources related to embodied intelligence.

Several enterprises and institutions, such as Changan Automobile and Lifan Motors, signed agreements to enhance the efficient linkage of industrial resources and accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements.

The unveiling ceremony also introduced several collaborative laboratories, including those dedicated to embodied intelligence, traffic robot design, and robotics and intelligent systems.

The conference further featured the signing of cooperation projects between schools and enterprises, as well as between different enterprises. By the end of 2024, the robot industrial chain in Liangjiang had exceeded 3 billion yuan ($423.69 million), attracting high-growth companies like HS Robotics and Agile Robotics.
