'AI + FTZ' forges new AI development path

China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Guangxi FTZ) drives a new AI development approach: "researched in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, assembled in Guangxi, and applied to ASEAN" through "AI + FTZ" synergy.
It upgrades core infrastructure and advances institutional innovation to smooth cross-regional collaboration.
The zone deepens AI cooperation with ASEAN through specialized platforms, attracting numerous "AI +" projects and launching a 10-billion-yuan industry fund.
Cross-border digital services and cultural AIGC applications drive industry clustering.
Looking ahead, Guangxi FTZ will enhance AI's role in cross-border trade and digital economy, using free trade agreements to promote opening-up and strengthen its position as a China-ASEAN AI cooperation hub.
