At Beijing’s Moshikou block, the Beijing Eight Imperial Handicrafts Museum is presenting a heartfelt retrospective honoring five late master artisans. Over 20 exquisite works in cloisonné, carved lacquer, gold-inlay lacquerware, Beijing embroidery and palace carpets celebrate their lifelong devotion to preserving traditional craftsmanship. Though the masters are gone, their artistry continues to shine.
