Two major cultural project agreements valued at over 100m yuan signed in Xiamen FTZ

The GRIFF Industry Opening Ceremony and Xiamen Cultural Film and Television Industry Project Signing Ceremony kicked off on Nov 11. Agreements on two major projects in Xiamen Free Trade Zone have been signed at the ceremony.

The Yingli media project, valued at 120 million yuan ($16.86 million), plans to establish a cultural media company for making films and short videos targeted at international audiences. What's more, the Maritime Silk Road Entertainment Fund will invest 100 million yuan to support companies involved in online dramas, films and television technology.

A series of events, including market promotions and round-table dialogues, will be held during the 2025 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. Professionals from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and the international film industry, along with representatives of film institutions, will gather to discuss the high-quality development of Chinese films.
