On Oct 18, Huanggang village in Shuangjiang town, Liping county, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, Guizhou province, held celebrations for the Xianghe Glutinous Rice Festival. Local Dong people gathered together to enjoy the festivities through traditional Dong grand song chorus performances and colorful costume parades. On October 17, Huanggang village was included in the list of “Best Tourism Villages” by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism).
