Three Jinan volleyball players selected for 2025 Asian Youth Games

Three young volleyball players from Jinan have been selected for the Chinese sports delegation to compete at the third Asian Youth Games, which will be held in Bahrain from Oct 22 to 31.

The three players – Xin Zhimiao, Ma Xiangrui, and Jiang Hance – attend Jinan No 1 High School in Shandong province. They earned their places on the national delegation thanks to their outstanding performances in previous competitions.

Xin and Ma have excelled in beach volleyball, clinching gold medals at the 2025 ISF U15 Gymnasiade and the national youth beach volleyball championships.

Jiang, together with his teammates representing Jinan, secured second place at the 16th Shandong Province Middle School Students' Games. Their outstanding achievements reflect their exceptional skills and potential on the court.

Jinan No 1 High School is renowned for its volleyball program, integrating sports into education and providing a systematic training and development pathway for young athletes.
