Foreign expert in Taicang receives Chinese Government Friendship Award

Dr Jürgen Häring, chairman of Haering Precision Technology (Taicang) Co, has recently been awarded the 2025 Chinese Government Friendship Award, becoming the first foreign expert to receive the honor in Taicang.

Haering Precision Technology (Taicang) Co, founded in 2004, is German firm Haering Group's first plant in China and sole production base in Asia. Since its establishment, it has continuously deepened technological research and development and localized cooperation in precision manufacturing, setting a benchmark for German-funded companies in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Häring has also contributed to local education by establishing a dual-system training center, founding the Sino-German Friendly Kindergarten, and launching the Häring Scholarship. These efforts have earned him recognition such as the Jiangsu Friendship Award and Taicang Honorary Citizen, as well as a place among the "Top 10 Outstanding German Contributors".

He expressed deep gratitude for the honor, saying, "China is not only a vital market for Haering Group but also a fertile ground for innovation and collaboration. I will remain committed to fostering Sino-German technological and talent exchanges, contributing further to sustainable development of Taicang and China."
