Xi'an to hold 2025 China Cup City Orienteering Competition

Registration is now open for the Shaanxi Province 2025 China Cup City Orienteering Competition, which will begin on Oct 25 at Shijingli Scenic Area in Xi'an. This event offers Xi'an's citizens a chance to experience the unique charm of traditional culture while exercising through orienteering.

This competition features teams of three participants, organized into three main groups: 150 competitive teams, 100 challenge teams, and 50 parent-child teams, fully accommodating the participation needs of various groups.

The competition will integrate map recognition, route planning, and team collaboration with the culture of theBook of Songs. Contestants must search for check-in points within designated areas and complete unique tasks, testing their physical fitness and challenging their intelligence and teamwork abilities.

"It should be noted that both the competition and challenge groups must include at least one member of the opposite gender, and all members should ideally be between 16 and 60 years old. For the parent-child group, children should be at least 5 years old, and parents should be under 60," said a representative of the event organizer.
