NETDA, Bureau Veritas forge strategic partnership

Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Bureau Veritas Co, a globally renowned inspection and certification institution, on Sept 17. 

The collaboration advances Nantong (NETDA) Testing and Certification Industrial Park, opened on March 18 to host top-tier industry resources. Several notable institutions like SGS, LRQA, Bureau Veritas, and Tiangui Certification are now operating there. 

Founded in 1828, Bureau Veritas has a global presence with networks in over 150 countries. Its testing and certification in sectors like marine, offshore, industrial, and construction remain industry leaders worldwide. 

In recent years, NETDA has prioritized industrial transformation and upgrading, positioning the development of a regionally influential testing and certification industrial park as a key strategic pillar. 

In the future, the park aims to increase resource aggregation, offering specialized technical services to support industry upgrades and sustainable development of the area and city.
