From Sept 14 to 17, a delegation led by the CEO of the Dao-Heuang Group, the top coffee producer in Laos, visited Guiyang to inspect and promote cooperation in the entire coffee industry chain.
This is the first delegation from a leading coffee company in Laos to establish a deep connection since Guiyang and Pakse established a friendly city relationship in September 2024.
During the visit to Guiyang, the delegation conducted on-site visits to local coffee brands such as "Captain George", "Wujie", and "Right". They engaged in discussions on topics including green bean trade, cross-border coffee product research and development, and vocational training. The company CEO said that Guiyang has a rich variety of coffee types, a vibrant market, and a deeply rooted coffee culture, which provides broad space for both sides to deepen cooperation.
A representative of the Guiyang Coffee Association said that Guiyang will fully utilize its market advantages, deepen cooperation with Pakse in various links of the coffee industry chain, cultivate international coffee products, and enhance the global competitiveness of both sides' coffee industries.
This inspection has laid a solid foundation for cooperation in the coffee industry between the two regions. Both sides look forward to achieving resource sharing and mutual benefit through continuous interaction, adding new highlights to the friendly relationship between China and Laos.
