Nantong airport resumes flight to Vientiane

Flight AQ1239, with 148 passengers onboard, successfully departed from Nantong Xingdong International Airport heading to Vientiane, capital of Laos, on Sept 16, marking the official resumption of the Nantong-Vientiane route.

Operated by 9Air, this route is scheduled to fly once a week on Tuesdays. Its return provides travelers with a more efficient and comfortable option and seeks to boost economic and cultural ties between the two regions.

The flight establishes an "aerial bridge" between Nantong and the ASEAN countries, injecting new momentum into the coordinated economic development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
