The China Port Museum in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, has launched a special exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Ningbo archaeology. Tracing Ningbo's history from the Jingtoushan site, an 8,000-year-old fishing village, to today's international port city, and revealing the rich maritime elements discovered in Ningbo's water and land archaeology, the exhibition recreates the countless "conversations" between ancestors living in Ningbo and the sea across the millennia.
Dates: Sept 12-Dec 14
