The Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Investment Cooperation Matchmaking Conference was held on Sept 8 at the Xiamen International Conference Center as part of the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). The conference provided a high-level platform for dialogue between FTZs and enterprises.
Amid accelerated restructuring of global industrial chains, China's FTZs face both new opportunities and challenges in advancing high-standard opening-up. The conference brought together FTZ representatives, industry leaders, and financial institutions to explore development opportunities through policy interpretation, case studies, and practical business exchanges.
The event, which was attended by executives of leading enterprises, multinational corporations, and financial institutions, featured presentations from FTZ representatives showcasing industrial strengths and policy advantages as well as one-on-one sessions designed to foster cooperation.
Lin Ruiliang, vice-governor of Fujian province, noted that as the global economic system undergoes profound transformation, Fujian FTZ will work with FTZs nationwide to advance institutional innovation, improve the business environment, and create more opportunities for growth.
In addition, FTZ representatives introduced their respective zones and expressed hope for close cooperation with industries, financial institutions, and enterprises.
Xiamen FTZ, a strategic hub integrating institutional and technological innovation, digital economy, and services, continues to serve as a model for reform and an important gateway for cooperation with BRICS countries.
The event highlighted FTZ policy advantages, industrial opportunities, and financial support measures, while facilitating project matchmaking to help enterprises share in FTZ development benefits and advance open economic cooperation.
