"We are building an integrated model of production-based livestreaming, brand incubation, and digital farmer training, using AI as the hub to support local development," said Zhao Xiaoming, head of the industrial park.

With an investment of 6 million yuan ($842,366), the park is emerging as a new engine for modern agriculture and animal husbandry. By directly linking with 10 major wholesale markets, and supported by the "Yuanwei Wuchuan" geographical indication and AI-based traffic forecasting, Wuchuan is positioning itself as a livestreaming hub for highland agricultural products.

The county is advancing the standardization and branding of its key industries, including potatoes, oats, and lamb, while training over 500 local anchors annually, including a "village secretary anchor team".

Wuchuan has adopted five guiding principles for its agricultural development: specialization, scale, standardization, branding, and industrialization. The county cultivates a stable 1 million mu (66,667 hectares) of oat, buckwheat, and potatoes, raises 1.1 million sheep, and grows 50,000 mu of medicinal herbs.

This year, 150,000 mu of standardized planting bases and 3,000 mu of organic vegetable bases are being built to ensure full traceability of product quality.

Additionally, with major projects in cold-chain logistics and agricultural industrial parks underway, Wuchuan is accelerating its transformation toward a modern, technology-driven agricultural economy.
