Artists brought the magic of shadow puppetry to Zuojiawu Primary School in the Fengrun district of Tangshan, Hebei province, on Sept 2, allowing students to experience this intangible cultural heritage up close. As part of the city’s “Heritage in Campus” program, traditions like shadow puppetry and paper-cutting are now enriching classrooms and inspiring young minds.
