This summer, youths from the Chinese Choir at the Burg in Germany visited Chuxiong in Yunnan, turning a thousand-mile journey into an incredible cultural immersion.
Donning traditional Yi clothing, the German youngsters instantly became part of the local family and even rocked the runway! Later, a friendly football match with local Yi players was filled with laughter and fun, proving that friendship has no borders.
The performance of the Chinese folk song Jasmine Flower by the choir was the perfect finale, bridging the two cultures with a beautiful melody.
