Qixi Festival opens with cultural & tourism gala in Xiaogan

On the evening of Aug 28, the “Mengniu Rendezvous” 2025 Xiaogan Filial Piety Culture Tourism Festival and the “Our Qixi Festival” cultural event kicked off at the scenic area Tianxian City in Xiaogan, Hubei province. By using the traditional Qixi Festival as a cultural link, the event weaves together the inheritance of filial piety, romance and cultural tourism, injecting new vitality into building Xiaogan as a renowned city of filial culture in China.

The program featured the opening ceremony and Qixi-themed activities, a community singing gala, initiatives to promote elderly care products, academic exchanges on filial piety culture, and the release of the “Top 10 Filial Exemplars”.
