Introduction: The song is performed by Tong Yichen, a student from the 2023 cohort. The song was written by the US pop diva Lady Gaga for her father. In an interview, she revealed that her father was seriously ill and needed a major heart surgery. However, her father was very conservative about health issues and refused treatment, which made Gaga very anxious at the time. Therefore, she wrote this song in the recording studio. Unlike other tracks on the album, there is no fancy electronic arrangements or Gaga’s signature experimental sound effect, relying solely on raw emotion and the simplicity of piano accompaniment.
