Jilin and Baishan unveil local charm at CNEA Expo

Jilin city's pavilion at the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo), which opened in Changchun on Aug 27, stood out with its rich displays and distinct local flair. Nearly 50 enterprises presented over 300 products, spanning chemicals, carbon fiber, healthcare, and cultural specialties.

Visitors discovered classic condiments, such as rice vinegar, and organic grains that reflected the region's ecological strength, as well as specialty medicines highlighting the city's growing healthcare industry.

Ice and snow sports equipment, creative cultural items like folding fans and bookmarks, and drinks such as frozen pear juice offered both tradition and novelty.

A highlight of the pavilion was the tasting zone, where Songhuahu Beer attracted attention with its newly launched whole wheat lager and hoppy lager.

At Baishan city's pavilion, ginseng products from Fusong county, natural mineral water with low deuterium, low sodium, and weak alkalinity from Jingyu county, and displayed Songhua inkstones and traditional stone carving techniques from Jiangyuan district were eye-catching, drawing flocks of visitors.

An interactive energy-storage zone invited visitors to generate electricity by pedaling stationary bikes, which lit up a map, providing a lively and eco-friendly attraction.
