To mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the World Anti-Fascist War, Yantai Art Museum launched a special art exhibition on July 30.
The event, which will run until Aug 28, aims to honor revolutionary martyrs and highlight Yantai's latest development achievements.
Featuring 130 artworks across various mediums — including traditional Chinese paintings, oil painting, printmaking, watercolor, and mixed media — the exhibition traces the historical journey of Yantai's people, who overcame various hardships to achieve prosperity. Through a chronological narrative, the display highlights both the city's progress and the patriotic spirit of local artists.
