They visited more than 10 cultural landmarks, including Nantong Museum, the China Grand Canal Museum in Yangzhou, and the Nanjing Museum, exploring the development of civilization in Jiangsu. The students gained a deep appreciation for the beauty of cultural diversity, highlighted by the Jinling Culture, Grand Canal Culture, Huaiyang Culture, and Jianghai Culture.
The summer program is a regular exchange initiative co-sponsored by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the cultural heritage authorities of the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions. Since its inception in 2017, it has successfully fostered cultural exchange between the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao, promoting the shared heritage of traditional Chinese culture.
