Xiamen FTZ launches smart art bonded warehouse to boost global art trade

The Xiamen FTZ Phoenix Art & Culture Bonded Sharing Platform Bonded Warehouse has officially opened recently.

Equipped with customs-approved smart surveillance equipment specifically designed for artworks, the bonded warehouse offers comprehensive security measures for the storage, display, and transaction of high-value artworks, thereby supporting Xiamen's role as a key hub for the international circulation of artworks.

Xiamen's first specialized instrument for the authentication and supervision of cultural relics and artworks was put into use on site.

The instrument ensures the authenticity, traceability, and secure handling of artworks as they enter and exit the bonded zone, enhancing oversight of cultural relics, improving regulatory efficiency, and promoting the upgrading of the zone's bonded cultural industry.

Moving forward, Xiamen Free Trade Zone will combine cultural exports and bonded services to further drive high-quality growth in global art commerce.
