The Master Qingshui belief and customs refer to the traditional folk beliefs and customs of the esteemed monk Master Qingshui at the Qingshuiyan Temple in Anxi county, Fujian province.

As a revered figure from the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), Master Qingshui is celebrated for his spiritual practices at the Qingshuiyan Temple in Anxi. Historical records from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) recount his miraculous feats, including summoning rain during droughts and providing rice for temple construction. His legacy as a protector deity endures in Anxi, where he is honored as the guardian of Anxi Tieguanyin tea.

This tradition has spread widely across regions like Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and internationally to countries including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Myanmar.

A key annual event is the Spring Festival procession, a three-day ritual involving offerings of flowers and tea as well as a worship ceremony called "Sanzhonghuo", which honors historical figures Zhang Xun, Xu Yuan, and Yue Fei. This tradition not only helps preserves culture but also fosters unity and offers rich insights that help to further the study of religion, folklore, and history.
