Foreign bloggers explore Yunnan’s all-mushroom feast – with a fizzy twist

French food blogger Mylene and Russian blogger Dmitry recently explored Nanhua county, Yunnan province, renowned as China’s “mushroom kingdom”. Their “all-mushroom feast” included a variety of dishes, from raw slices and stir-fries to hotpot, rich soups, and steamed buns.

The highlight was a surprising mushroom-flavored soda — sweet and fizzy, with an earthy aroma that left them both intrigued and delighted.
