WND sends first-ever fan charter train to support city soccer team

A high-speed train D9556 left Wuxi New District Railway Station on Aug 3, carrying more than 1,000 Wuxi soccer fans to Suqian.

That evening, the eighth round of the 2025 Jiangsu Football City League began with Wuxi playing against Suqian away. This match was crucial for both teams as they competed to secure a spot in the league's top eight.

This is the first fan charter train in Wuxi's over 100-year railway history, and the tenth to operate during the Jiangsu Football City League.
