Mars Annual Savings Crew

Mars Annual Savings Crew is a science fiction animated short film centered on the protagonist Esby and their live-stream sales team, the Mars Annual Savings Crew, as they journey through space in search of a utopia called the “Golden Land”. Along the way, they encounter uncontrollable events such as cosmic storms and team disbandment, prompting Esby to embark on a solo exploration into the unknown. As the sound designer, the author crafted a unique audio environment blending real and imagined elements: designing differentiated ambient sounds for various spaceship interiors; creating mysterious soundscapes for the fictional "Golden Land”; applying special audio effects to live-stream segments; and developing stylized sound effects for abstract scenes like transmission failures and signal interference.
