Opening ceremony for Hainan Island Carnival lights up Haikou

"This is my first time attending the carnival, and it's absolutely breathtaking!" said Wang Mei, a tourist from Chongqing, her voice brimming with excitement. "The evening breeze, the lively nightlife - I planned my trip around this event and can't wait to explore everything."
Haikou resident Li Qiang, who attended with his family, praised the event's inclusive atmosphere. "Every year, the carnival gets better. This edition truly captures the spirit of joy," he said while watching his child play at an interactive game booth.
