A major nanomaterials project of Langfeng New Materials (Inner Mongolia) Co is making swift progress in the Juungar Economic Development Zone of Ordos city, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Backed by a total investment of 200 million yuan ($27.89 million), the company is accelerating construction on its nanocrystalline powder and device production facility, aiming to establish a full soft magnetic materials industry chain within the year.

"These materials are widely used in fields such as new energy vehicles, household appliances, solar inverters, and industrial current sensors," said Yang Dayong, a project representative.

The company is a leading player in China's magnetic materials industry and is building six fully automated production lines on a 70-mu (4.67 hectares) site. Once operational, the facility will utilize advanced international manufacturing processes to produce 20,000 metric tons of nanocrystalline powder and 10 million nanocrystalline components annually.

The project is expected to generate an annual output value of 500 million yuan and create about 200 jobs, serving as a key driver for industrial upgrading in Juungar Banner.
