The 2025 China (Yantai)–Japan Economic and Trade Exchange Meeting was held during Shandong Week at the China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka on July 29, aiming to deepen economic and trade cooperation between Yantai and Japan.
During the meeting, the Yantai Council for the Promotion of International Trade highlighted Yantai's business environment and industrial advantages. Chinese institutions and companies like the Yantai Food Industry Association and Longkou Jiayang Packaging Co, along with Japanese representatives, held roadshows presenting several high-quality cooperation projects and market demands to facilitate precise connections.
During the signing ceremony, the Yantai Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Japan-China Friendship Association, the Yantai Prefabricated Vegetable Industry Association, and Miki Sangyo reached cooperation agreements and signed deals on the spot, marking significant progress in industrial cooperation between the two regions.
This event not only defined the direction for future cooperation between the two parties but also provided a model for Sino-Japanese food industry economic and trade exchanges, which will continue to drive Yantai-Japan economic and trade cooperation to a higher and deeper level.
