July 6 marked the one-year anniversary of the first "Large Three Links" e-commerce direct shipping route of the Xiamen Haicang Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Since its launch on July 6, 2024, this pioneering route has maintained stable operations, with 143 completed voyages carrying cargo worth over 6 billion yuan ($836 million).
The new direct route complements existing "Mini Three Links" ferry services, creating an integrated logistics network that represents both an innovative transportation solution and a symbol of growing cross-Strait connectivity.
The route has transformed traditional transshipment models with its overnight delivery capabilities. Operating on a consistent 12–14-hour transit schedule, it combines speed and reliability. With three weekly fixed sailings, it guarantees Taiwan consumers 72-hour delivery from the time of ordering, matching air freight speed at just half the cost.
Moving forward, the Xiamen Free Trade Zone will continue supporting businesses in optimizing integrated "shipping + warehousing + distribution" solutions. This initiative aims to establish Xiamen as a premier cross-border e-commerce hub that connects mainland China with Taiwan while extending its influence across Southeast Asia.
