2025 'Civilized China' kicks off in Qinghai

On July 9, the Office of the Central Committee for the Promotion of Spiritual Civilization held the launch ceremony for the 2025 "Civilized China" thematic interview and report in Haibei Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Qinghai province, and hosted the "Civilized China: Seeing Qinghai" case study event.

This event aims to vividly showcase the new atmosphere and achievements in the high-quality development of spiritual civilization construction in the new era and new journey.

Journalists will delve into grassroots communities to highlight the hard work and lives of local officials and residents, presenting a comprehensive view of the coordinated advancement of civilization cultivation, practice, and creation, as well as the integrated development of urban and rural spiritual civilization, and the uplifting of social ethos. This effort will provide strong spiritual support for building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation.

The "Civilized China" thematic interview and report have been conducted since 2023 and has been held for three consecutive seasons.

This year's event will introduce innovative reporting formats, integrate advanced technologies, feature typical cases, and conduct a series of interviews on rural customs and civilization, including "Cloud Viewing: Civilized China" village broadcasts, among other topics, with concentrated reporting through multimedia thematic columns.

After the initial report in Qinghai, the interview team will continue to various provinces, regions, and cities, conducting reports through the end of November this year.
