The Shanghai Museum East has just unveiled the special exhibition The Spiraling Glory: Treasures from Guyuan, Ningxia. More than 300 exquisite artifacts, ranging from the Western Zhou (c.11th century-771 BC) to the Sui (581-618) and Tang (618-907) dynasties, reveal how ancient Guyuan thrived as a key hub on the Silk Road. Behold a vivid tapestry of cultures, trade, and artistry that shaped the history of Guyuan.
