14th China Children's Theater Festival opens

During the festival, the national theater will also hold its annual "Summer Tour 100+" giving families from 18 cities of nine provinces, including Hubei, Zhejiang and Guangdong, the opportunity to enjoy its quality theater productions with low ticket prices. A total of 122 performances of the theater's 16 original plays will be staged during the tour.

As the first national-level children's theatre festival, the China Children's Theater Festival has so far showcased 563 theater works from 35 countries and regions, resulting in more than 2,500 performances, making it a significant platform for exhibiting the latest achievements in children's theater and fostering children's theater exchange and growth, according to the theater.
