An exhibition commemorating the 620th anniversary of the voyages of Zheng He (1371-1433) to the "Western oceans" (visiting Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia, and East Africa) opens today at the China Maritime Museum in Shanghai. It takes you on a journey back in time, vividly recreating the grand historical scenes of Zheng He's epic maritime expeditions and exploring how his spirit of braving the waves and fostering friendship across nations still resonates today.
