Abu Dhabi, Zhejiang mark a new milestone with launch of dual-fuel car carrier

Last year, the maritime partnership between Ningbo-Zhoushan Port and Abu Dhabi Port reached a new high. In 2024, the container throughput on the shipping route between the two ports achieved a new breakthrough, becoming a crucial link for trade between China and the Middle East.

In March, the UGR ro-ro vessel "Al Samha" under AD Ports Group made its first berthing at the Meixi Ro-Ro Terminal. Since then, it has operated on a regular schedule, with the cumulative number of vehicles transported exceeding 5,000 — further supporting the growth of China's automobile exports.
