Global influencers explore Yantai's wine culture

Global influencers from the US, France, Italy, Sri Lanka and Russia gathered in Yantai, East China's Shandong province from July 2 to 4 for a wine-themed tour.

Amid lush vineyards and aromatic wine cellars, they explored the rich heritage and cultural depth of this coastal city's winemaking tradition — tasting locally produced wines, trying their hand at wine blending, and participating in immersive activities designed to showcase Yantai's unique terroir and vibrant wine culture.

Jointly hosted by the Global Wine Tourism Organization (GWTO) and the Yantai government, the 2025 GWTO Enotourism Conference was held in Yantai from July 2 to 5, aiming to promote innovation and exchange in global wine tourism. The tour took place in conjunction with the conference.
