The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Administration for Market Regulation has selected three initiatives from Ordos city for the 2025 list of region-level standardization pilot projects.
These include the Yellow River "Ji-shaped Bend" water resource conservation and efficient use project, the Wanjiahui agricultural market upgrading project, and the green finance standardization pilot.
With these additions, Ordos now has 39 region-level standardization pilot projects, covering smart agriculture, service industries, social governance, public services, key industrial clusters, new urbanization, and standardized management practices.
Standardization pilots apply standardization principles and methods in specific sectors to build rational, applicable systems that improve management efficiency, drive innovation, and generate social or economic benefits. These pilots serve as important platforms for developing and implementing standards, offering models that can be widely replicated and promoted.
The Ordos market regulation administration will continue to support pilot entities in exploring new models and methods, nurturing talent for standardization, and enhancing the overall quality and impact of standardization services across the city.
