SUFE international students explore future opportunities in Shanghai's Lin-gang

A group of international students from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) recently explored Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area during the "Seed Future Lin-gang" talent program, titled "Drifting at Lin-gang upon the Sea-Lake Appeal".

Students from Spain, Italy, Russia, Türkiye, Mexico, and other countries had a firsthand experience of the integration of cutting-edge finance education and emerging financial infrastructure in the Lin-gang Special Area.

The visit holds special significance, as the Dishui Lake Advanced Finance Institute, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE-DAFI) — established in Lin-gang just two years ago — anchors the university's commitment to this rapidly growing financial zone.

Over the course of two days, students engaged in diverse activities, including academic dialogues with deans and alumni at SUFE-DAFI, visiting the China Maritime Museum, and boating on the Dishui Lake, as well as having an industry exploration of the Lin-gang AI Innovation Hub.

Students praised the program: "Finance here isn't abstract textbook theory," one noted. "It's unfolding in real time within this dynamic coastal hub connecting Shanghai to global markets."

The Human Resources Department of Lin-gang Special Area Administration emphasized its commitment to the "Seed Future Lin-gang" talent program, aiming to attract more international students to contribute global perspectives and wisdom to Lin-gang's development as an international financial center.
