Nantong leader meets with CEO of Turkey's Koksan Group

Murat Kokoglu, CEO of Turkey's Koksan Group, visited Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province on June 21.

Koksan Group is a renowned producer of polyester materials with five global production bases. In 2024, the group launched a $700 million green polyester new materials project in Rudong county, Nantong with the first phase set to start operations in mid-2026.

During the meeting, local authorities in Nantong emphasized the city's support for the project as part of its efforts to implement the Belt and Road Initiative and promote integration within the Yangtze River Delta. Koksan was encouraged to strengthen collaboration with Nantong in green industries and technologies, highlighting the city's potential as a key investment destination.

Kokoglu expressed gratitude for Nantong's support and pledged to accelerate the project's progress. He also committed to promoting further cooperation between Nantong and Turkey in economic and friendly city exchanges.
