Xishan Park lotus exhibition opens with charming blossoms

The vibrant lotus exhibition opened at Xishan Park in Guilin on June 18, showcasing 4,000 potted fine lotus varieties, including Red Lip and Space Lotus.

Lotus buds and blossoms at Longchi Pond and on the lawn create a stunning scene, enhanced by iron art cello sculptures, Ferris wheel installations, and bamboo landscapes accompanied by classic poetry. The park director announced that this year's exhibition marks a significant upgrade, presenting the 12,000-square-meter lotus area at Xihu Lake. It highlights the features of a sponge city, including permeable plazas and rain gardens that improve flood management while also enhancing public accessibility.

The event also includes lotus leaf tea giveaways, science exhibitions, safety consultations, and youth activities, merging natural beauty with cultural engagement.
