Recently, thousands of egrets have been seen fluttering, chasing, and playing in the woods of Zhangfang village, located in Yichun city in East China's Jiangxi province. Their graceful white forms create a beautiful scene against the backdrop of farmhouses and rice fields.

These elegant birds are classified as a Class II protected species in China and are commonly found throughout the Yangtze River basin, as well as in Africa, Eurasia, and Australia. They typically inhabit low-altitude wetlands.

Yichun has demonstrated that its clear waters and green mountains are invaluable assets by combining rural beautification with economic growth. This balanced approach has resulted in environmental improvements and economic development in Jiangxi province's countryside, driving comprehensive rural vitalization.
