Tiny stuffed steamed buns, or xiaolong bao, are loved worldwide for their soft and pillowy skin and light, tasty fillings. Perfectly steamed, they offer a delicious harmony of delicate textures and a fresh, aromatic broth.

While many think xiaolong bao originated in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, they were actually created by locals from Shengzhou — a charming city about 120 kilometers southeast of Hangzhou.
