To improve services for foreign talents and enhance the sense of belonging and fulfillment among foreign experts and young foreign talents living in Beijing, China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and the Beijing Overseas Talents Center have co-founded the Scholar’s Studio for International Talents in International Talents Service Area, Zhongguancun. In the kick-off meeting of 2025 “Happy Chinese with BOTC” Program & Opening Ceremony of Scholar’s Studio for International Talents, representatives from China International Communication Group, the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, Foreign Languages Press, Foreign Talent Research Center, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, jointly announced the opening of the Scholar’s Studio for International Talents.
The Scholar’s Studio for International Talents shelves over 1,000 books covering various fields such as China’s history, culture, politics, economics, innovation in science and technology in Chinese, English, German, French, Japanese and other languages. Reading and communication zones with sofas are available to readers.
The Scholar’s Studio is now available for international talents. Further services may include book clubs and reading saloon, etc., which will help build a platform for foreign talents to deepen their understanding of Beijing, and to communicate and bond.
